Kirin Brewery will be distributing Guinness across Japan starting in June 2009, beating out Sapporo Breweries for the privilege.
When I think “beer” and “Japan,” two names come to mind: Kirin and Sapporo. I assume that they’re strong rivals, and I’m curious as to what led Guinness to stop using Sapporo (which I’ve always preferred over Kirin!).
