The doctor says so!
Doctors in Oxford have advised a stab attack victim that drinking Guinness will speed his recovery.
Simon Pratley, 26, has returned to his Blackbird Leys home from hospital having nearly died after he was stabbed eight times on his own street.
He said: “We asked doctors what I could drink and they said make sure it’s Guinness. It brings my iron levels up.”
